bool OCI-Lob::truncate
([ int $length = 0
] )
Truncates the LOB.
Parameters

If provided, this method will truncate the LOB to length bytes. Otherwise, it will completrely purge the LOB.
Return Values
Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.
